HealthGrid ("we", "our", or "the app") is a health data visualization application developed by Il Gu Yi that displays your activity and wellness data as a visual grid. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use HealthGrid on iOS or Android.

The core principle is simple: your data stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers.

2. Information We Access

HealthGrid requests read-only access to the following health data from Apple HealthKit (iOS) or Google Health Connect (Android):

• Sleep data — total sleep duration and sleep stage breakdown (REM, deep, light, awake)
• Step count — daily step totals
• Exercise calories — energy burned during workouts, broken down by workout type
• Workout data — distance, duration, and calories for supported workout types including running, cycling, swimming, walking, hiking, yoga, HIIT, strength training, basketball, and tennis

We never write to or modify your health data. Access is strictly read-only.
